Trick-or-Treating is serious business. And who wants to let down an excited 4 year old?

The brief was to create a robot costume that would be interactive and entertaining to the audience of notoriously critical Doylestown candy suppliers. I was tasked with adding LED bling and interactivity to the form factor and used both a Circuit Playground Express and my Arduino Uno to display scrolling text on the 16×2 LED display. I was surprised to see the LED connections that were only made using a breadboard, and stabilized with nothing more than Velcro held throughout the various sugar highs and lows of an evening of begging for candy with 500 other children and dogs. I somehow neglected to video the client actually using the buttons, but the parts are below and I post this mainly as a colorful anecdote.
